In our group we have Liam.B, Chloe and Ally. Before March 16th we assembeled the robot, we had a lot of difficulties but in the end we managed to do it. We are programing our robots to dance. His name is TOBY!!!!!!!!!!!

Chloe Schibeci says: Today I was the programmer. We had to do a pedestrian Challenge where we had to get from one line to the other. Our robot Toby kept curving and we did not complete the challenge. But we have something to work on next lesson.
Liam Bognar says: We had to do a pedstrian crosing test. Our robot kept on curving and we didn't get it completely right so we have a lot to work on.
Ally Vyner says: This Robotics session was probably my favorite, because I was the handler, i had the most fun job. The handler gets to plug the robot in to the computer and take it out, I also got to press all the buttons on the robot and be the one to carry it to and from the computer. Also enjoyed this session, because toby (our robot) did a lot of random and funny things.

Chloe Schibeci says: Today we had our week 8 robotics lesson. Today I was the Handler. We had another challenge to complete so we were not able to fix up our robot from last weeks challenge. This time we had to make our robot go from one end to the other end of a square and then it had to dance inside the square. We did not complete this challenge either. Now we have to mistakes to pick up on next week.
Liam Bognar says: I was the programmer and we did a perdestrian crossing test but it was different to the other one we did before. We didn't succeed but our robot did a pretty good dance.
Ally Vyner says: In todays robotics session I was the recorder, the recorders job is to record everything the group dose, like what we programmed the robot to do on the computer and what it did and didn't do out of the computer. Our challenge this week was to make our robot do a dance, it sounds pretty easy, but we had to keep ti in a reasonably small area (square). We didnt complete the challenge because it went outside the lines of the square, but it was a pretty awesome dance.

Chloe Schibeci says: Today I was the recorder. We had a list of challenges to complete. The first one was a complete 360 turn. We did complete it, but it took us a while because Toby (our robot) was unable to download anything because its memory was full. So in the end We managed to delete some thngs therefore we had enough memory to complete the challenge and get a 5 for our success. I was very proud of our group.

: This week we had a list of challenges, the first one was to complete a 360 degree turn, so we showed it to the teacher and we passed! I was the recorder/handler in that session because Liam was away so it was just me and chloe.

Chloe Schibeci says: Today I was the Handler/Recorder for this week as Ally was away. Today Liam and I worked on Toby's (the robot's) Shimmy which was one ofchallenges on our sheet we have. We tried a few times but we did not get it right for the first three goes and on the fourth go we got marked and we got a four, which is a great score. I love robotics it is so much fun!!!!!!!!!!

We passed by getting a five which I am very pleased with. Unfortunately we did not get that one marked but that is ok. I am still happy. :) see look at my smiley face.

1st June 2011 Liam Bognar says: Today we showed Mrs Burns and she said there was to much spinning at the start of the dance so she helped us fix it up. It looks good but its to big and it will go out of the dancing space. Chloe Schibeci says: Today I was the handler and we showed Mrs. Burns our dance and she pointed out there was to much spinning in the first three moves we had put together. In the end we fixed it up and now it looks quite good:) Ally Vyner says: I was supposed to be the programer today, but Liam took over and I ended up being the recorder, but it was stil a fun lesson, we had to show our dance so far to Mrs. Burns, she liked it but said their was to much arm spinning in the first part of our dance so we are going to take some of that out and hopefully it will be better.

Chloe Schibeci says: Today there was no rolls as we had to perform our dance we had put together. It was a great lesson we really had a good dance put together a special thanks to Mrs. Burns, Mrs. Hallinan, Mrs Cooper, Liam Bognar Ally Vyner and most importantly our robot champion toby.
